Lina Unleashed

In Lina Unleashed, Lina chronicles the day to day – often hilarious – struggles of her first two years with a clueless and shallow Momma. Momma means well but lacks common and other sense, especially when it comes to caring for Lina. In fact, Lina finds herself at the animal hospital so often that she suspects Momma has a crush on the hunky emergency room vet. Luckily, Lina has her own little village of caregivers, which are often necessary considering Momma’s penchant for golf and shopping.

Readers will identify with many of Momma’s issues – including her inability to understand modern technology. According to Lina, Momma still does not know the difference between a hashtag and a dogtag.

Momma, who is something of a shopaholic, also claims to be on a budget. Lina wonders pointedly, however, if it can really be considered a budget when the only spending cuts are on her.

Momma and Lina go paw to toe in other areas, too, like politics. Momma is a die-hard Republican who hates political correctness and is still hoping that global warming will reach Minnesota. Lina is a Democrat who is concerned about Trump’s stand on doggie rights and immigration, considering that she is Australian.

Funny and insightful, people and dogs of all ages and breeds will love Lina Unleashed. Lina’s wry wit and keen observations of her topsy-turvy life with Momma are sure to tickle your funny bone.

This is Lina’s first book, so she and Momma are especially excited that Lina Unleashed has been named a 2017 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award Winner!

WOOFDA! (Enjoy!)
